#3 Notes taking

# Boost understanding

taking is not just about recording information. It’s helps to process information. Writing things down can free up your brain from memorising things and focus on processing. It’s the key of understanding. Whenever you see, read or hear something important you receive information. With this information you have to do something. Note taking is doing. It’s a process of sorting, selecting and combining the ideas you have and melding it together. It’s has correlation with creative thinking.

# Notes are the resources

Notes are the treasure of ideas that you’ll always have whenever you stuck at ideas. Today’s note might not help you tomorrow but these notes are invalueable for future self. It can prompt ideas for your current projecs. By reading over a series of notes, you can visualize  how a next idea might take place. You just need to organise these notes to get a basic framework for project. Most rapper take notes when they get a nice lnes. And they use those lines in there projects.

your notes are still useful as your personal reference library, , an external memory aid.

If you need to recall something that you came across a while ago, you can go over the main ideas by looking over your notes. This is why good, comprehensive notes are so useful; they are a catalogue of the best ideas you’ve encountered, and what you thought about them.

Hii friends, it’s our 2nd day of the journey to become a better writer. Yesterday we learn about why it’s important to write to yourself. Today we are going to know the reason you should write.

#2 Why You Should Write

“The coolest people I meet are the ones who find me through something I’ve written.” Derek Sivers

Writing improves your thinking, creates opportunities for you, and build your contacts. A well written article can change your life. Internet rewards people you can think and write well. You can attract and meet the like minded people. It initiates feedback loops. It helps you learn faster. As your writing improves, so will the opportunities available to you.

To Know Yourself

Writing teaches you to hear and trust your own voice. It make us look deeper. It helps to reach  feelings, thoughts, desire that perhaps we didn’t know we had. It connects us with what is that we’ve wanted to do in life, but were too scared to admit. Writing is not about only novels, books, or research. But about connection with yourself and something you do in order to come closer who you really are. Writing helps you to get rid of noise that distract you.

Here is a practice you can do every day with just a paper and pen or pencil.

Get up 15mins before you have to wake up. Go and sit somewhere you’re less likely to have any interruption and start writing without thinking. Yes without thinking. Do not care about spelling or grammar. When you are done, do not go back and check what you have written. Simply close your notebook until your next Writing session. And write each day without fail. With this practice you will notice your thoughts getting clear.

Self Expression For Healing

We live in a world where, it’s okay to be not okay. We are comfortable to brush things off instead of being open about how we feel. It can affect mental health, leads to depression and suicide.

We equate strength with silence. But real bravery lies in sharing your stories and talking about there things. There is a massive role of all form of  creativity for expression. It could be in any form like drawing, writing, cooking, singing etc.

Expressing emotions can empower other. The more you share stories with each other, people will link that these things are universal. By this people won’t feel shameful for hiding feelings. Writing your story not only helps you but also other by showing, it’s okay to be vulnerable.
